The magic of the holidays is arriving early at the Hamilton Farmers’ Market! Join us on Saturday, December 6th, for our Holiday Celebration. Santa Claus is making a special stop in downtown Hamilton for a day filled with festive fun, family memories, and holiday cheer.
Whether you’re coming for your annual Santa photo, joining the Gingerbread Decorating Workshop, picking up gifts from local artisans, stocking up on groceries or simply enjoying the cozy atmosphere, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
Meet Santa at the Market
Santa will be walking through the Market, greeting shoppers, chatting with families, and spreading joy everywhere he goes. Come visit with Santa 9 AM to 12 PM and take your own photos for free in our York Blvd event space. It’s the perfect opportunity to capture a keepsake moment in one of Hamilton’s most iconic holiday settings.
Bel Canto Strings Performance
Enjoy a live performance from the Bel Canto Strings Academy from 10 to 11am on the lower level for an hour of beautiful music while exploring the Market.
Free Gingerbread Decorating with Chaton
The festivities don’t stop there! From 12:30–2:30 PM, families can join Chaton for a free Gingerbread Decorating activity. Kids can design their own sweet masterpiece and take it home to enjoy. Gingerbread Houses and supplies are limited to one house per family. Be sure to come early and bring your holiday creativity! Parental supervision is required.
