Parking
Upgraded Parking System for Market Shoppers. Market Shoppers can access 1-hour free parking at the parkade at 28 York Blvd.
Effective, September 4, 2026, new signs were installed with an easier system for Market Shoppers to register their vehicle using a digital parking payment system.
Market shoppers can receive 1 hour of free parking by registering their vehicle using the QR code located inside the Market.

Transit
Getting here by HSR
Hamilton Farmers’ Market is easy to reach by HSR if you’re traveling within the city. Several routes stop close to the Market, making it convenient to plan your visit without worrying about parking.
Key routes:
Routes 1, 2, and 51 run along major downtown streets and stop within a few minutes’ walk of 35 York Blvd.
Routes 3, 10, and 12 also provide access from nearby neighborhoods.
Once you get off at a downtown stop, the Market is just a short walk to the entrance.
Getting here by Go Transit
If you’re visiting from outside the city, GO Transit is a simple way to reach Hamilton Farmers’ Market. You can ride the Lakeshore West line to either Hamilton GO Centre or West Harbour GO.
From Hamilton GO Centre:
It’s about a 10-minute walk straight up James Street to York Boulevard. You’ll find Hamilton Farmers’ Market at 35 York Blvd, right beside Jackson Square.
From West Harbour GO:
You can walk about 15 minutes through the downtown core or hop on the A-Line bus for a short ride that drops you close to the Market.
Both stations connect you directly to the heart of the city, making it easy to include a stop at Hamilton Farmers’ Market while exploring Hamilton’s restaurants, attractions, and waterfront.
Are Animals Allowed?
Only certified service animals are permitted inside the Hamilton Farmers’ Market. Pets and emotional support animals are strictly prohibited due to Ontario Public Health regulations regarding indoor food facilities. Accessibility
We have a public elevator and a ramp that allows for wheelchairs, scooters, buggies and wagons to access both the upper and lower levels of the Market.
