10:30 - 11:30 AM:
PLAN B ORGANIC FARM - FAMILY BAND CONCERT

12:00 - 5:00 PM
HAMILTON CIVIC MUSEUMS DRUMMING POP-UP
Start your Saturday off right with a live concert from Plan B Organic—yes, you read that right! Catch them from 10:30–11:30AM in the York Blvd. Event Space. It’s free, family-friendly, and packed with musical good vibes.
Then from 12–5PM, Join the staff of the Hamilton Civic Museums for some fun activities and museum themed crafts and try your hand at drumming.
During the War of 1812, the drummer had one of the most important jobs on the battlefield. Their role was to relay commands and instructions using a tool that allowed the message to be heard from far away. The snare drum was one of the loudest instruments at the time and could be heard across long distances (hopefully all the way down James St.). Learn different rhythms and patterns which were played on the drums and see what different signals you can relay to the crowd. Grown-ups are encouraged to join in too—just make sure there’s a parent or guardian along for kids under 12.
ALL DAY SATURDAY: INSIDE THE MARKET - FIND THE GOLDEN EGG SCAVENGER HUNT

And because we like a little surprise with our Saturdays, our Golden Egg Scavenger Hunt is back! We’ve hidden three golden eggs in the Market between 8AM and 5PM. Find one, and bring it to the Market office on the lower level to claim a gift card. One egg per family, please.
Whether you're planning to spend the whole day downtown for Supercrawl or just making a quick stop between shows, the Market is the perfect place to fuel up, hang out, and celebrate SuperCrawl weekend.

Drop-In Pumpkin Carving Workshop
Fall is in full swing! There’s no better way to get into the autumn spirit than with a hands-on pumpkin carving session! Join us at the Hamilton Farmers’ Market for our Drop-In Pumpkin Carving Workshop, supported by Zacs Jack’s. This event is perfect for anyone who loves seasonal fun, from beginners to seasoned pumpkin artists.
You’ll have access to all the tools you need and expert guidance from Zachary Flavelle, professional Pumpkin Carver. Zachary will share his favorite tips and tricks for carving your pumpkin safely and creatively, so you can take your skills to the next level. Whether you want a classic jack-o’-lantern, a detailed design, or something completely out-of-the-box, Zachary will help you bring your vision to life.
All you need to bring is your pumpkin. If you don’t have one yet, you can pick the perfect pumpkin from one of our Market vendors. Take a stroll through the market, feel the texture of the pumpkins, and choose the one that really speaks to you—it’s all part of the fun! Once you’ve selected your pumpkin, grab your seat at our workshop table and let the carving begin.
This drop-in session is casual and flexible, so there’s no need to pre-register. Come by anytime on Saturday, October 25, from 10am to 12pm. Join other pumpkin enthusiasts in a lively and creative atmosphere in the York Blvd event space. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the sights, sounds, and flavors of the Hamilton Farmers’ Market while making something special to take home.
Whether you’re attending solo, with friends, or bringing the whole family, this workshop is designed to be accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Kids will love seeing pumpkins transform under the careful guidance of a professional. Adults can get creative and maybe even learn a new trick or two. Don’t forget to check out the other vendors while you’re here. From fresh produce and baked goods to unique handmade creations, the Hamilton Farmers’ Market is a destination for everything autumn. And with Zacs Jack’s supporting the workshop, you know your pumpkin carving experience will be top-notch.
