Event Details

Supercrawl is almost here! The Hamilton Farmers’ Market is getting in on the action with a FULL DAY of music, family fun, and even a golden egg scavenger hunt.

10:30 - 11:30 AM:

PLAN B ORGANIC FARM - FAMILY BAND CONCERT

12:00 - 5:00 PM

HAMILTON CIVIC MUSEUMS DRUMMING POP-UP

Start your Saturday off right with a live concert from Plan B Organic—yes, you read that right! Catch them from 10:30–11:30AM in the York Blvd. Event Space. It’s free, family-friendly, and packed with musical good vibes.

Then from 12–5PM, Join the staff of the Hamilton Civic Museums for some fun activities and museum themed crafts and try your hand at drumming.

During the War of 1812, the drummer had one of the most important jobs on the battlefield. Their role was to relay commands and instructions using a tool that allowed the message to be heard from far away. The snare drum was one of the loudest instruments at the time and could be heard across long distances (hopefully all the way down James St.). Learn different rhythms and patterns which were played on the drums and see what different signals you can relay to the crowd. Grown-ups are encouraged to join in too—just make sure there’s a parent or guardian along for kids under 12.

ALL DAY SATURDAY: INSIDE THE MARKET - FIND THE GOLDEN EGG SCAVENGER HUNT

SuperCrawl Golden Egg Hunt

And because we like a little surprise with our Saturdays, our Golden Egg Scavenger Hunt is back! We’ve hidden three golden eggs in the Market between 8AM and 5PM. Find one, and bring it to the Market office on the lower level to claim a gift card. One egg per family, please.

Whether you're planning to spend the whole day downtown for Supercrawl or just making a quick stop between shows, the Market is the perfect place to fuel up, hang out, and celebrate SuperCrawl weekend.
